Lunch/Banquet Dinner Registration Form

Below are the catering options for Lunch and the Banquet dinner offered at TFAWS 2025. Please indicate any dietary restrictions in the form. Submissions will be closed after July 7. Note that a small PayPal transaction fee is applied to each item purchased. 
 

Lunch: Monday - Thursday, August 4-7, 2025 - $26/day

 

For lunch, we are offering an optional catered lunch buffet, held in the SJSU Student Union ballroom (same location as the Keynote lectures and other events). Each lunch buffet will offer gluten free, dairy free, and vegetarian options. For the catered lunch buffet, the total cost per attendee is $26 per day (welcome to the Bay Area), which is the government per diem rate for lunch in San Jose.

 

  • Monday - Italian Buffet

    • Caesar Salad, Garlic Bread, Penne Pasta w/ Marina, Chicken Piccata, Portobello Ragout, Tiramisu

  • Tuesday - Asian Buffet

    • Sunomono salad, Steamed White Rice or Brown Rice, Chicken Teriyaki, Mapo Tofu, Edamame, Vegetable Potsticker w/ Ponzu Sauce

  • Wednesday - Ballpark Buffet

    • Potato Salad, BBQ Baked Beans, Mac and Cheese, Hamburgers, Vegetarian Burger, Cookies and Brownies

  • Thursday - Build your own Sandwich with sides (To allow for a to-go option for those attending the NASA Ames tours on Thursdays).

 

For other non-catered lunch options, the San Jose Student Union food court will have a handful of options open this week, including Starbucks, Subway, and Paseo Market. There is also a student dining hall ~10 minutes walking distance from the ballroom that offers food options for around $18 per person.

 

Banquet Dinner - Wednesday August 6, 2025 - $70

 

Our conference banquet dinner is planned for Wednesday August 6 from 6-9pm in the San Jose Student Union Ballroom. The Banquet dinner will include a Charcuterie table during the welcome/cocktail hour, and three buffet-style food stations for the main meal:

 

  • East Meet West - Blackened Salmon with lemon and parsley, Za'atar roasted chicken thigh, Penne pasta with broccoli, lemon and garlic, Roasted sweet potatoes with pickled roasted eggplant and halloumi cheese, Chickpea, cucumber, and tomato salad with balsamic vinaigrette (VG)

  • Homestead Harvest Buffet - Dinner roll served with butter, Whipped mashed potatoes, Sautéed green beans (VG), Herb-roasted chicken, Beyond barbeque meatloaf (VG), Vegan mushroom gravy

  • Build Your Own Taco Bar - 4" white corn tortilla, Flour Tortilla (VG), Cilantro, Onions, Molcajete, Tomatillo salsas, Chicken Tinga, Carne asada, Vegan chorizo, Mesquite, Mayonnaise, Chili, Lime, , Tri Colored Tortilla Chips, Molcajete Salsa and Tomatillo Salsa, Guacamole

 

There will be simple desert options for after the meal. Each banquet dinner ticket includes one drink ticket for a selection of beer/wine, with a cash bar available for subsequent drinks.

 

Gluten free, Dairy Free, and Vegetarian options will be available - please indicate if you have dietary restrictions on the form below so that we can inform the catering company.

 

Our banquet dinner will include brief remarks from conference organizers, and will include the award for the student poster session.

 

The prices listed below includes the transaction fee and the final price listed during checkout includes the service fee. Paypal is used for the transactions but you may checkout as a Guest using a credit/debit card.
